Never leave the kingdom
I’d love to have this concept art by Kevin Nelson framed on my wall. Must be Flynn. No idea what he’s up to. No good, surely…
I’m fascinated by the idea that, at one point, Rapunzel and Flynn were going to take a gondola ride through a canal in the village. But maybe that’s just because I want to see more of Corona.
Apparently, at one point, Flynn’s flight from Corona happened at night. Concept art from Kevin Nelson, including one of Flynn meting with Gothel – another altered plot point.

This Corona map and corresponding concept art show three things that were in a previous draft of “Tangled” but never made it into the original film:
(1) A gondola ride though the village canal
(2) Rapunzel meeting Gothel at the Lost Princess memorial
(3) A wedding at the castle cathedral
Concept art of Gothel doing dastardly things. The top two are by Jeff Turley. Bottom two are by Paul Felix. Middle is by Bill Perkins. Rapunzel in a shipping crate? There’s a head-scratcher.

Scott Watanabe concept art. I always wanted to see that “The Charge of the Pub Thugs” scene. I also like Rapunzel doing the double take at the bookshop.
