Ladies and gentleman, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Fitzherbert, the Prince and Princess of Corona. (I can’t wait for this.)

I find it interesting that there is this spread about a wedding in the back of “The Art of Tangled.” Along with this picture with a part of the castle labeled “cathedral,” it makes me think that, at some point, a wedding was a part of the story.

I guess if you’ve cut off seventy feet of hair, you need a really long wedding train.

Ever since I heard that the “Tangled” short next spring will be the wedding, I’ve wanted to post this picture. It’s from a larger map in “The Art of Tangled” that you can see here. I always found it curious that the creator of this map labeled “cathedral” - as though something was going to happen there. It makes me wonder if, at one stage of the movie, there was a plan to show the marriage, and if, perhaps, all the attention to the Will and Kate wedding made them think, “Hey, we could do that as a short after all.”

The royal wedding of the century (no, not this one) is coming in 2012! That’s right, you are cordially invited to the royal wedding of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider Eugene Fitzherbert. Disney Consumer Products announced the televised ceremony in a press release, stating:

It all starts this fall when Rapunzel will be officially welcomed into the Disney Princess Royal Court in a special global celebration that will reach millions of girls around the world. In spring 2012, girls will finally see Rapunzel marry her true love Flynn Rider in a short-form Disney animation special set to air on Disney Channel.
